Consent logs & audit trail

Every time a visitor makes a choice, CookieCrumb records an immutable consent event. This is your evidence that consent was freely given and informed.

What's recorded

• A pseudonymous consent ID (no raw IP stored by default).
• Timestamp and the banner version shown.
• The exact categories accepted and rejected.
• The visitor's country, when the edge reports it.

Exporting

Export logs as CSV from the dashboard, or pull them programmatically via the API. How long logs are kept is set per site in the retention setting.
